Stadionkneipe mit Blick in Innenraum hatte doch auf (haben gestern 2:0 gegen die Tretertruppe aus Madrid gewonnen). Ein 1. Mai-Bierchen gezischt. Echt schönes Stadion!

Besten Dank. Gibt tatsächlich beide Pubs (Skulls uns El), die aber beide dicht haben. Stadionkneipe und fröhliche Basken haben mir aber schon gereicht, "in dieser schönen Stadt".

Die Gruppe wurde nicht stark genug beleidigt wie ich live mitbekommen habe. Auch wenn ich nicht nachvollziehen kann, weshalb man lieber auf ein Volksfest mit besoffenen Lederhosentrampeln geht, wenn das eigene Spiel vorbei ist, statt weiter Fußball zu schauen.
Flammkuchen und Bier waren lecker im Elfer. Danke auch für die Gastfreundschaft

We are traveling from Scotland for the home match against Eintracht on 05.11.22 so it will be the first time in Augsburg.
I did not want to start a new topic, but I am looking for some suggestions for bars in Augsburg for before/after the match.
It does not need to be sky sports bar (like this topic is addressed to). We are just looking for a good bar and atmosphere to enjoy the build up to the match and after party. 🙂

For before match i would recommend a visit to the Unikum. The Bar ist full of Augsburg Supporters before the match. Prices are OK.
After match Party depends on your prefered type of bar. For a bar with mostly crazy people you should visit the Brezn oder Frosch. For a bar with a bit more pleasent people i would recommend the Flannigans Pub.

First of all: I love scottish people! Hope you have a great time.
I recommend the "11er Fußball. Kultur. Kneipe" which is owned by our club president.
After the match, visit "Murdock's Irish Pub" and say hi to the Irish owner James. I bet he would love to have a chat with you.

We will be visiting Munich for the weekend but will try to spend most of the day in Augsburg on the Saturday for the match.
We are fans of St. Mirren, in the Scottish Premier League. We know what it is like to have a much larger neighbour - Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are less than 10 miles from our town, Paisley.
Most people in our town travel to support the big 2, rather than their local team. I guess Augsburg have similar problems with Bayern!
Anyway - we are looking forward to the trip to the WWK and the city.

I hope your city is more beautiful than Glasgow.. I have been there in February (Rangers vs BVB, Hamilton vs. Inverness - partnertown of Augsburg). Glasgow is one of the most boring cities I have visited - but the night life was good.
Anyway, enioy the match and our city. You don't need more recommendations (Unikum, 11er, Flannigan's Post).

Exorzischt - Paisley is the largest town in Scotland (so not quite a city) but probably no better than Glasgow. The town has a proud history but has lost almost all industry over a long time and as a result there is much poverty.
Similar to Glasgow in some ways.

with impressions after your visit in Germany. E.g. atmosphere and
experiences before, during and after the match, things you noticed in
particular or that were different to Scotland, etc.
