As with every game around the country, possibly the world, it started
with a minute silence for the victims of Tuesday's attack on the USA.
I can also report the minute silence was respected impeccably
throughout the country. Haching started the game in their usual
manner, i.e. looking dangerous at standard situations, and giving the
goalie the ball from crosses, but unusually strong in defence. In the
24th minute then the lead for Unterhaching, a pass from one of the
better players last week, Lexa, to Djoni (Johnny) NOVAK, who toe
punted it past the goalie from 18 meters. Haching all over Babelsberg
by this time, and a minute later Chalaskiewicz pulled down Haching's
Strehmel and is sent off. Babelsberg reduced to fouls to keep up, and
another minute later Danny Schwarz is fouled in the area, but Altin
Rraklli missed the penalty. Babelsbarg had a chance in the 39th
minute, but the free Gatti skied the ball instead of scoring, and in
the 43rd minute Rraklli passed to LEXA who grabbed his second of the
season from close range, and in the last minute of the half almost
scored again, but saw his shot come back off the post. Half time
Babelsberg 0 Haching 2. The second half carried on as the first had
left off. with some good chances for Haching but it would seem
Rraklli needs to get a little shooting practice in. Babelsberg has a
short spell of pressure which they can't exploit, and Haching take
over again, and are rewarded in the 82nd minute with an own goal from
HAERTEL from a corner. In the 85th minute Haching make their third
substitution, Weinzierl replacing Bugera, and ten seconds later
Weinzierl is sent off for deliberate handball in the area. CIVA
scores from the spot for Babelsberg in the 86th minute, only for
Haching to come straight back at them and for Altin RRAKLLI to
finally get it right in the 89th minute to make it 4-1 at the end.
